What Providence
In this vast sphere of persons, every kind,
how is it any of them find rapport?
That wondrous time of meeting of the mind,
a precious gem among the treasure's store.
What gladness, when attractiveness of face,
appealing, may be due to soulful bond,
and gratifying, how the heart sees grace
in the manner of the one for whom we're fond.
The twinkle of the eyes when recognized,
may say more than our faltering words convey,
as evidence of like approach, surprised,
emerging of a soul bond on the way.
Infatuation may begin the link
or mutual interest when we brightly see.
Oh, wonderful, when what we feel and think,
is shared between those loved well, you and me.
